Exploratory Pre ACP Cuyamaca College

The great news is that Cuyamaca College has numerous resources to help you explore your options, narrow your academic and career choices and help you make a decision.

Where do I start?
By following these 1, 2, and 3 easy steps:

  1. Explore Your Options
Visit the career center for a career assessment and other resources, or you can enroll in the counseling 120 course to explore careers and create a career plan.

  2. Take GE Classes
Meet with a counselor to determine General Education coursework appropriate for the first semester. Even if undecided you can be intentional in the coursework you choose. Meeting with a counselor will ensure the coursework you take is applicable towards a final degree or certificate.

If you haven't chosen a major yet but are interested in a particular Academic and Career Pathway (ACP), refer to the ACP map for your first semester.

If you're entirely unsure about your major, use the Exploratory first semester map.

  3. Enroll in the Pre-ACP Canvas Shell
By joining this learning community, you can connect with other students and have access to exploratory resources to help in your major selection process. (Coming soon)

Together we will help you steer your academic and career in the right direction!
